Sonic The Hedgehog 4 (Mega Drive / Genesis) |
| Whilst little has been said by Sega about this game it seems that Sonic The Hedgehog 4 (or Sonic Cracker as it was to be known) was in production only a few days after the last Sonic game was released. However, it soon became evident that this platformer wasn't going to make it to the stores. Early beta code revealed the fact that the new 'dual-player' system was a nightmare to control and was far from 'user friendly'. The game could have probably been saved by making a few changes, so it seems a mystery as to why this game never hit the shop shelves - roumers have it that it was dropped in favour of working on the new Saturn system. |
